Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Email required for entry. I understand that my email address may be used by Blueox Energy for marketing purposes to share company specials, promotions, and savings opportunities. Information will not be shared with external parties.
2. Please only enter the contest if you live in our coverage area. To see if you are in our coverage area, please visit our website: blueoxenergy.com
3. Employees of Blueox Energy and family members of employees of Blueox Energy are not eligible to enter.
4. Must be property owner or homeowner to qualify. Renters are not eligible to enter.
5. To enter please visit our website blueoxenergy.com to fill out a small entry form with pictures of your existing unit. Blueox Energy will then post the contest entries to our Facebook page. Please do not post any pictures or personal information to our Facebook page.
6. Your photo of equipment and your name will be displayed online. Your address and phone number will not be displayed.
7. Submitting a photo for entry grants permission to Blueox Energy to use image in future marketing materials.
8. Your information will not be sold.
9. If you are not currently a customer and have been selected to be a finalist, you will be notified to take the necessary steps to become one within 5 business days after notification. Oil users must commit to automatic delivery from Blueox Energy for a minimum one-year period to qualify as a finalist.
10. Entrants with an underground oil tank must have Proguard to qualify for entry. Entrants with an aboveground oil tank must have a completed tank inspection to qualify for entry.
11. All entries are due by 3/29/26. The five finalists will be notified by email by 3/30/26 and must reply within 24 hours to confirm participation or position may be forfeited. A site visit may be necessary to choose the finalists.
12. Voting will take place for 14 days after the finalists are announced. Five finalists will be identified on the website blueoxenergy.com. The winner will be determined based on the highest number of votes.
13. Winner must claim prize within 5 business days of notification.
14. The equipment sale must be a Rinnai boiler product or Ruud furnace product that will be supplied and installed by Blueox Energy. Prize value may range from $7,000 to $12,000. Any additional cost upwards of $12,000 will be at the expense of the winner.
15. Installation does not apply to oil-to-gas or gas-to-oil conversions.
16. Installation for winner will include a certified chimney inspection and cleaning. Any additional chimney work beyond inspection and cleaning will be the responsibility of the homeowner/property owner.
17. Blueox Energy is not responsible for any work beyond 3 feet of piping from the boiler.
18. Blueox Energy will acquire and pay for the required permits for installation. Winner is responsible for arranging installation inspection with the township. Winner must complete an ST8 form in order for sales tax not to be charged.
19. The winner agrees to provide a testimonial of the experience with a photograph of the before and after equipment, and aid in a case study on energy savings.
20. The winner will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC, Miscellaneous Income.
21. Blueox Energy will not be responsible for the removal of any asbestos. If you are the winner and your system has asbestos, you will be required to have it removed by an asbestos professional prior to our installation.
22. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash value. System installation must be completed by Blueox Energy.
