BLUEOX ENERGY PRODUCTS AND THE HEAP PROGRAM
HEAP is a federally-funded program that assists low-income New Yorkers with the cost of heating their homes. HEAP also offers emergency benefits for households in a heat or heat-related energy emergency. If you qualify for HEAP, Blueox, as an approved provider, will deliver fuel oil, kerosene, or propane, plus help you with service, repairs, and installation of your heating equipment. Blueox Energy Products can help you navigate the HEAP process, which can be difficult or confusing at times. We also participate in other New York State-funded programs that may be able to help you with energy costs and low cost/no cost equipment for home heating.
A common myth we hear is that once a homeowner has chosen a HEAP provider they are unable to switch providers or that the process is complicated. Let us help! You can change providers at any time and we are happy to assist you in your transition to ensure your home stays warm and your stress level is relieved. Many of our local customers rely on these programs and we are proud to offer compassion and support to ensure no one is cold during the winter months.
