Quick Troubleshooting Tips

Before calling for service, check a few simple items that may help restore comfort.

Heating Systems

  • Check your thermostat batteries
  • Make sure your thermostat is set to “HEAT”
  • Confirm the emergency shut-off switch is on
  • Check that you have fuel in your tank
  • Replace dirty air filters

Cooling Systems

  • Make sure your thermostat is set to “COOL”
  • Replace thermostat batteries if needed
  • Check that all applicable units have power
  • Make sure the air filter is clean
  • Clear debris away from any outdoor units
